Every September, when summer is over, the farmers of Iceland gather together their sheep, bringing them back home from the highlands. This is a huge event in every village, and all the locals and even some tourists participate, every help is needed to gather so many sheep together. They guide them into a special fencing system, where they are separated. This was a perfect opportunity for us, to capture the Icelandic sheep close together, but it was also really spectacular to watch! If you are ever in Iceland during September, you should try to take part of such a sheep gathering.
