This was the second time we got to witness the rare phenomena of polar stratospheric clouds. It was during work, when one of our colleagues came to us, telling us to go outside and check the sky. For a moment we just stood there in awe, amazed by mother nature once again. Unfortunately, we didn’t have our cameras with us, so we decided to enjoy it just for ourselves.
Some hours later on our way back home, we looked up at the sky again and realized that the stratospheric clouds are still there, even stronger than before! We rushed home to get our gear and ran down to the lake to capture this wonder once again.
When looking at these pictures now we still can’t believe how lucky we have been.
