Iceland is called the land of fire and ice for a reason as the country is home of many volcanoes and glaciers. And whether you are standing at the bottom or on the top of a glacier, it will leave you speechless.
The seemingly endless masses of ice are laying there for millions of years and you think there is nothing that can ever destroy them. And yet you know exactly that the glaciers are declining year after year.
Climate change is real and living in a place like Iceland helped us a lot to understand the seriousness about it.
With our glacier series we wanted to capture the beauty and mighty of a glacier, but also try to create awareness of how vulnerable our planet is and get people to realize that something as untouchable as a glacier will just vanish if we don’t start to act.
