Godafoss is named the waterfall of the gods, and if you see it, you can imagine why. We visited this waterfall several times and over time got the idea of going there in winter. How beautiful it must be to see the turquoise-blue water framed by white snow?

So, we finally managed to go there, just to get into a huge snowstorm when we arrived. We sat in our car and waited, wondering if we will even manage to drive home again. After two hours of waiting, the storm started to clear. We got out of the car and walked to the waterfall to finally get the picture we were planning for a while.
