GHOST PLANE

We got up really early this morning, as we knew the plane wreck is going to be surrounded by crowds later on. So, we parked the car and rushed there as far as we could. As we arrived, we have been the first ones on the beach, we unpacked our drone an flew over the plane to take some shots. But then already the first bus arrived, earlier than we expected, and the crowds came surrounding the wrack. So, we decided to try something, we haven’t tried before. We put all our ND filters on our lens, did some calculations and started a long exposure. We let the camera expose for over 5 minutes, in order to let all the moving objects around the plane wrack disappear. When we looked at the outcome of the photograph we realized, that not all people fully disappeared, but there are still some shadows left and we really liked how this came out. These shadows add a ghostly atmosphere which matches perfectly with the Plane wrack in the black desert.
