A QUICK GLANCE

We have spent already several months in Africa and seen a lot, but we didn’t manage to see a cheetah yet. So, wherever we went, we were eager to look for this elegant cat. On one morning Game Drive in Karongwe Game Reserve we suddenly heard a guide calling in a cheetah sighting. Our pulse went up and we were hoping that they are close, and luckily, they were. Our guide started to drive a bit faster and after some 10 minutes of driving we saw a car driving very slowly. They moved to the side of the road and signalized us that the cheetahs (3 brothers) are patrolling along the road. We followed them slowly with some distance in between until they stopped. One of them was turning around and we took the chance to take this portrait. It was only a glimpse of a moment, before he turned around again and continued his patrol. For us it was enough, we finally saw our very first cheetah, even three of them, and managed to take a photo to remind us of this moment forever
