About us
Hi there! We are René and Beate and are both born and raised in Austria. We are a couple since 2011 and ever since shared the passion of travelling.
In 2015 we decided to combine our hospitality jobs with our love to explore new places and moved to Norway. And there it happened: We saw our very first Northern lights and were simply overwhelmed, but at the same time we also felt some frustration. We wanted to capture the moment - as a memory for us, but more even to share it with our friends and family at home.
A quick decision was made and we bought our first DSLR. This is where our photographic journey started. We discovered that with our camera we were able to share our experiences and make all the beautiful places with visited accessible, even for people that never traveled before.
We lived in Norway for almost 4 years, before we moved to Iceland for one year. In between, we travelled to South Africa, Namibia and Botswana and like many people before we fell in love with Africa. We started a Field guide course in South Africa to learn more about wildlife, but also the environment the animals are living in and the connection between each other.
After the course we managed once again to combine our love (this time for Africa) with our jobs. At the moment we are living in the middle of a National Park in Uganda, still working in hospitality, but not less passionate about photography!
Our goal is to capture the beauty our planet has to offer, bring people closer to nature and hopefully help to sustain all the magic and wonders of mother earth.
"If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere" - Vincent Van Gogh
